Pixel 10’s Amazon Cut Now Sits Beside Pixel 11

Amazon is selling the Google Pixel 10 in India at Rs 69,900, a Rs 10,099 cut from its Rs 79,999 launch MRP. Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sheet, which opens to everyone on October 9, puts the newer Pixel 11 at an effective Rs 69,999 if a Rs 12,000 bank cut, a Rs 6,000 exchange extra and Rs 2,000 in Supercoins all apply.

That is the buy-now question, and it is not the one older deal posts are still asking. The next Pixel is already in shops. Last year’s phone and this year’s phone now sit on the same money, and they do it by different routes.

What the Pixel 10 Costs on Amazon India Now

Amazon’s Obsidian 12GB RAM, 256GB Pixel 10 listing is Rs 69,900 against an MRP of Rs 79,999. That is a Rs 10,099 cut, not the Rs 15,350 drop that still gets copied from a June cart of Rs 64,649. Frost listings run higher, and Google’s own store still asks Rs 74,999.

The June figure was real at the time. It is not the checkout price on October 3. Price trackers at Smartprix recorded a 4 percent rise over the past month on this model, which matches a cart that has climbed off that June low and off several September prints in the Rs 67,000 band.

PIXEL 10 AND PIXEL 11, SIDE BY SIDE

A cash buyer who cannot use a qualifying card or a trade-in still pays Rs 89,999 for the new phone and Rs 69,900 for the old one. The collision only appears once the festive stack is applied. Amazon Pay ICICI cashback of up to 5 percent is showing on Pixel 10 listings, which is a separate card perk and not built into the Rs 69,900 sticker.

Flipkart’s Festive Pixel 11 Lands on the Same Money

Google launched the Pixel 11 from Rs 89,999 in India on August 12, with retail from August 20. It uses Tensor G6, ships with Android 17, and starts at 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. A 512GB option is Rs 1,04,999.

Flipkart early access starts October 8. General access is October 9. The Rs 69,999 Pixel 11 headline is not a flat markdown. It is three benefits added together.

HOW THE PIXEL 11 RS 69,999 FIGURE IS BUILT

• Bank cut: Rs 12,000 off on eligible cards.
• Extra exchange: Rs 6,000 on top of the old phone’s own value.
• Supercoins: Rs 2,000, which only helps if the buyer has the coins and the checkout accepts them.

Rs 12,000 plus Rs 6,000 plus Rs 2,000 is Rs 20,000. Rs 89,999 minus Rs 20,000 is Rs 69,999. Miss any one piece and the new phone jumps back toward list. Flipkart’s own offers page lists last year’s Pixel 10 at Rs 68,999, a sticker, not a three-part stack.

That is the split people keep missing when they treat both numbers as the same kind of deal. One is a price on the page. The other is a price you only reach with a card, a trade-in, and a coin balance.

Older Pixels Have Followed This Drop After Every Launch

Google’s India pattern is now three cycles deep. A new Pixel arrives in August. The previous flagship slides onto Amazon and Flipkart. Deal posts then ask whether this is the moment to buy the leftover phone.

After Pixel 9 launched in August 2024, the Pixel 8 128GB, which had launched at Rs 75,999, was on Flipkart at Rs 58,999. After Pixel 10 launched in August 2025, the Pixel 9 12GB/256GB, which had launched at Rs 79,999, was on Amazon at Rs 58,800 by September 2, 2025.

LAST-GEN PIXEL STREET PRICES AFTER THE NEXT LAUNCH

The Pixel 10 has not fallen as far, as fast, as the Pixel 9 did. Pixel 9 was already under Rs 59,000 within weeks of Pixel 10. Pixel 10 is still near Rs 70,000 more than a month after Pixel 11 went on sale. The June Amazon print of Rs 64,649 shows the floor can go lower than the current cart, and that it did so before the new phone even arrived.

Google is also holding an official cut. The same Pixel 10 is Rs 74,999 on the Google Store, Rs 5,000 under MRP, with that offer running from June 1 through December 31, 2026. Amazon is cheaper than Google’s own till. Flipkart’s festive Pixel 11, stacked, undercuts both if the buyer qualifies.

Tensor G5 Runs Cooler in Daily Use

The phone you actually take home at Rs 69,900 is still a 6.3-inch OLED Pixel with a 120Hz panel, 3,000 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It launched in India on August 20, 2025 at Rs 79,999 as a single 12GB/256GB configuration in Indigo, Frost, Lemongrass and Obsidian.

The rear cameras are a 48MP main, a 13MP ultrawide and a 10.8MP 5x telephoto. The front camera is 10.5MP with autofocus. The battery is 4,970mAh with 30W wired charging and 15W Qi2 wireless charging. It is IP68, 8.6mm thick and 204 grams. Tensor G5 and Android 16 sit underneath, with Gemini built in.

Those Pixel-only camera and Gemini tools are still the reason this chassis sells when the silicon does not win a benchmark chart. Night Sight, Best Take, Camera Coach and on-device Gemini are the product. The chip is the compromise that comes with them.

I haven’t noticed any overheating, and the phone doesn’t get particularly hot to the touch, save a few times during setup.

Daily heat is the part Google improved. Long games are the part it did not. Tensor G5 still warms the back in extended play, and 30W wired charging is slow next to the phones this money also buys. At launch, that mix was enough for some Indian reviewers to tell people to skip the series. At Rs 69,900 the same hardware is a different bet, because the alternative in the same band is now a stacked Pixel 11, not a full-price Pixel 10.

Pixel 11 is the lighter phone at 197 grams, with a 4,985mAh battery, Tensor G6 and Android 17. Its wired charge claim is 55 percent in about 30 minutes with a 30W PPS charger, and wireless charging rises to 25W Qi2.2. The cameras stay in the same 48MP plus 13MP plus 10.8MP 5x layout on the base model. You are not buying a new camera module. You are buying a newer chip, a newer Android, and a support clock that starts one year later.

Exchange Bonuses Do the Heavy Lifting

Every Pixel deal in this band tries to look cheaper than the sticker by pulling in a used phone. Google’s own Pixel 11 store page still advertises a Rs 9,000 exchange bonus on an eligible trade-in, separate from Flipkart’s Rs 6,000 festive extra. Amazon’s Pixel 10 pages keep showing an exchange line whose rupee value changes with the old model and its condition.

Treat those ceilings as marketing, not a price. A worn mid-range phone does not clear a five-figure bonus. The June deal posts that walked the Pixel 10 down toward Rs 25,000 only got there by stacking the then-sticker with a best-case trade-in that most drawers will not match.

The honest math is narrower. Amazon Pixel 10 at Rs 69,900 is the cash price. Flipkart Pixel 10 at Rs 68,999 is the festive cash-ish price. Flipkart Pixel 11 at Rs 69,999 is the qualified price. Google Store Pixel 10 at Rs 74,999 is the official price through December 31. Anyone who needs a Pixel and has no card and no trade-in is shopping the first three stickers, not the stacked 11.

Seven Years of Updates Remain on the Clock

Software is the leftover argument for paying near Rs 70,000 for a 2025 Pixel. Google promised seven years of OS, security and Pixel Drop updates on Pixel 10, the same span it now prints on Pixel 11. A Pixel 10 bought in October 2026 still has years of those drops in front of it. A Pixel 11 bought in the same week starts that clock one generation later and, on the calendar, ends one year later.

The Pixel 10a sits under both. Flipkart’s sheet puts it at an effective Rs 39,999 after a Rs 4,000 bank cut and a Rs 4,000 exchange extra, against a Rs 47,999 listed sale price. It is the software story at half the money, with an older Tensor G4 inside. People who want Gemini and Pixel camera code, and who do not want to argue about G5 versus G6, have a cheaper door than either flagship.

For the two phones that actually share a Rs 70,000 band, the remaining edge on Pixel 10 is simple. You can buy it today for Rs 69,900 without waiting for October 8, and without hoping a card, a trade-in and Supercoins all fire at checkout. The remaining edge on Pixel 11 is also simple. Tensor G6, Android 17 and a support window that starts in 2026, if the stack holds.

Read the Stack Before You Hit Buy

The winner in this split is the shopper who already has a qualifying card and a phone worth trading, and who can wait until October 8. That person is looking at a new Pixel 11 for an effective Rs 69,999, which is Rs 99 above Amazon’s Pixel 10 sticker and a full generation newer. The loser is the shopper still working off a June cart of Rs 64,649, or off the idea that the next Pixel has not arrived yet.

If the stack fails, the numbers reverse. Pixel 11 returns toward Rs 89,999. Pixel 10 stays at Rs 69,900 on Amazon and Rs 68,999 on Flipkart’s offers page, and Google’s till stays at Rs 74,999 through December 31. That is the buy, and it is a last-gen buy, which is exactly what the August dump is designed to be.
