“We hope to contribute to Ukraine’s agricultural exports and help sustain its economy even as the war continues,” Himeno said.

This office’s establishment is part of a series of agreements from a February Ukraine reconstruction conference hosted by Japan. As of October 2023, 38 Japanese companies are active in Ukraine across various sectors, including manufacturing, wholesale, ICT, and agriculture.
