Polaris Centre expands its business support to Kangaroo Island and Adelaide Hills

The Polaris Business Development Centre, a service of the City of Salisbury, has partnered with the SA Office for Small and Family Business to extend its business support services to Kangaroo Island and Adelaide Hills. The Polaris Centre is a leader in enhancing business capability and growth in the small and family business sector, with more than 25 years of experience.

The partnership is part of the Government of South Australia’s Office for Small and Family Business and the South Australian Small Business Strategy 2023 – 2030, which aims to create a thriving and resilient small business sector in the state. The partnership will enable the Polaris Centre to deliver Retail Fundamentals workshops in the Adelaide Hills, and Business Fundamentals workshops in Kangaroo Island, as well as free business consultations and mentoring programs.

The Polaris Centre helps businesses succeed and grow, by providing high quality, low cost services, subsidised by its government partners. The services include workshops, mentoring, networking, digital solutions, problem solving, and strategies for growth. The Polaris Centre also has a team of experienced and qualified business advisors, who can assist businesses with various aspects of their operations, such as marketing, finance, human resources, and innovation.

The workshops offered by the Polaris Centre cover topics such as retail success, business planning, cash flow, digital marketing, and social media. The workshops are designed to help aspiring and existing business owners to launch and run a successful and sustainable business. The workshops also provide an opportunity for participants to network and learn from each other.
